A domain name is your name on the internet in the form of www.yourname.com (or .org / .net)
Why do I need a domain name?
A domain name is the easiest way to be identified online. Your customers can type www.yourbusinessname.com and get to your website. Or your friend can type www.yourname.com and get to your personal website. Also, you MUST have a domain name to be hosted at DeltaArc Networking.
How much does it cost?
At DeltaArc Networking we are concerned that you want the most value for your money. That is why charge only $10 per year to register a domain name!. If you register your domain name at other registrars such as Network Solutions, it will cost $35 per year!
Why are we that cheap?
Because we have partnered with the best registrar we could find to get the lowest price there is!
What does the $10 fee cover?
Everything! We pay the registrar (see www.internic.net on information about registrars) and we register the domain for you!
How can I get a domain name?
When you register for a DeltaArc.net account, you will be asked if you already have a domain name or wish to register a new domain. Choose the option that is the most appropriate to your needs. If you choose to register the domain with us, you will be charged $10 once a year.
What if I already have a domain name?
You can simply transfer the domain name to us. If you are familiar with domain names, log in your registrar and update your Primary and Secundary Name Servers (see the following question). Or e-mail us at support@deltaarc.net and we will gladly guide you to do this.
